Combat Vision MMA were lucky enough to speak to Jason “The Assassin” Radcliffe after it was announced by Cage Warriors that he will be challenging Victor Cheng for the vacant middleweight championship at Cage Warriors 85 in Bournemouth. Jason won his first professional title at Contenders 17 to become CEA middleweight champion after knocking out Wilfried Edmund in the third round. Heading into his second professional title fight, Jason is on a six fight winning streak.
Combat Vision MMA asked Jason about his thoughts on the fight being announced and his opponent
“I’m pleased about this fight. Cage Warriors have put on well matched fights and I have been doing this for years. I’m just another seed. I understand Cheng has been around for a long time. But, so have I. My team know he is a BJJ black belt and has decent striking. However, day in and day out I train with high level professionals at Tiger Muay Thai so I am not scared to do what he does, better! I am confident that my prep has been on point so far. Victor Cheng has a tough task ahead of him #ThatsMyBelt”
“I also want to give a special mention to my sponsors Tiger Muay Thai, GP-supplements, commando camp, funky gums, pit bull west coast”
