Combat Vision MMA were lucky enough to speak to Jax MMA head coach and fighter Dale Middleton after it was announced this evening that he would be fighting Krzysztof Klepacz for the inaugural On Top professional light heavyweight title. Dale won his first professional light heavyweight title at Forza Fighting Championship 4 defeating Ryan Salamagnou by way of TKO in round one.
Combat Vision MMA asked Dale about the fight announcement and his professional career so far.
“It has been a struggle the past couple of years with injuries and work commitments. But, I have got the strongest support system ever and feeling good about moving forward in my career. My last fight was a title fight scheduled for 5 x 5 min rounds, I ended that with a right cross in 10 seconds. I’m not one for going into a battle for a points fight. I like to go in there for the win and pressure until I get it”
“I’m not really sure on my beliefs on cage rust, a fight is a fight regardless of when and how you do it. As long as you are putting in the work of a martial artist. I enjoy the training, the hard work and the reward of testing everything I have learned along the way”
