Alex Budoiu “Having a belt means I have a target on my back. I expect people to voice themselves”

Combat Vision MMA spoke to Kokoro mixed martial arts fighter Alex Budoiu this afternoon to get his reply on being out called by Next Generation I.M.M.A fighter Ross McCorriston this morning via facebook to fight at the next Clan Wars event in June.

“He’s a tough opponent, he actually beat me fair and square on Kumite, a unanimous decision and it was awarded fight of the night. I have improved a lot since then and I’m sure the result would be different, if we fight again. Having a belt, means I have a target on my back and I expect people to voice themselves. No disrespect taken if I get called out. This would be for the featherweight vacant title, I fought Paul Hughes for it after stepping up 2 weight classes on 2 weeks notice and was surprised that he chose to hold onto me and use his weight advantage instead of standing up like he always does. I would love to have a shot at it again, this time with a full camp and not having to give up the size like the last time”
