Shay Walsh talks about resigning with BAMMA “This is the right option for my career progression”

Combat Vision MMA were lucky enough to speak to Tiger Muay Thai fighter Shay Walsh after he resigned with BAMMA on a multi-fight deal. Shay was previously the bantamweight champion for the promotion and is currently ranked sixth in the UK/Ireland featherweights. Shay last fought at Bellator 173 where he defeated James McErlean by way of unanimous decision in a three round fight.

I’m very happy to have resigned with BAMMA, I felt that they were to the right option for my career progression.  I’m hoping to have a busy year and reclaim my bantamweight title. My next fight will be on May 12th in Birmingham.  BAMMA will be releasing who it is against very shortly”
